My Sixaxis controller is making me mad. Both analog stick are worn out and when playing Dark sector, my character keeps moving up and the camera goes left without me doing it. This also happens to me in Call of Duty 4. My question is does it happen to other people and also want to know that will buying Dual Shock 3 going to fix this problem.

happen to me too. I had to buy a new one because it was so irratating. I think it had to do with COD4. Holding down L3 to sprint i dont think helped very much

yes it will

read some reviews and you can see that the dualschocks arent only made with different plastic material (suppose to have a better touch and stronger) but almost all reviews exagerate on how "good" the analog sticks feel.

it'll eventually wear out but it'll take longer..

its like a second revision.

this is unrelated:

there was a 2nd revision of the sixaxis that came with the 40gb ps3, basically it has the non see through plastic (if put up against a light source) and the analog sticks were made better.

It's normal for anything that has moving parts to wear out in time.
