I have a theory, the double xp weekend event on Call of Duty 4 coinciding with the release of the rival game Medal of Honour?

Is this just me thinking too much or a very clever marketing/business plan from the producers?

I don't think Call of Duty 4 has anything to be worried about. It is hands down the best FPS available on the market today. Both critic and consumer reviews prove this.

Unreal Tournament 3 appeals to a whole different kind of FPS fan. I think the two games could easily survive on the PS3 for a long time, completely independent of each other.

Medal of Honor just sucks in comparison and doesn't look even remotely interesting to me. I ranked up from level 2 to level 15 this weekend. I've been playing a lot of Warhawk lately, but have come to really appreciate and love the beauty of CoD 4 online.
