my theory of a Metal Gear 5, if there is one(spoilers from MGS4)

Hi guys,

there have been recent speculations of a new metal gear 5 game going into the works in the not too distant future. People have been hoping for, and suspecting Raiden. Firstly, we can clarify that it will not feature Raiden, here's why:

in the MGS4 epilogue, you'd notice that Raiden was lying on a hospital bed. Upon looking into the mirror after embracing Rose and his son John, he realises that he is now human (well, mostly human). He is cyborg no longer. After an emotional talk with his family, he quotes along the lines of, " I'm done fighting". This is basicallly telling us that Radien is settling down and spending time with his family, like Snake told him previously, to enjoy his youth while he has it.

Besides, the only reason he went to battle was to protect Snake, like Snake protected him at big shell. He had no motive to settle down, as he lost Rose and had no reason to live.Now, he lives happily ever after with his family.

Towards the end of the prologue, Big Boss talks about his feud with Zero, before literally, "pulling the plugs". Snake ends the game by retiring from the battlefield, and since he's about to die, he really has no motive to fight, the world is in peace, the patriots are finished !

The protagonist will definitely be big boss. His talk about Zero and how he tried hunting him down was far too detailed to ignore. My gut feeling is that it must be Big Boss in Metal Gear 5, whether its his feud with Zero, or another plot Kojima will bring. It will be great seeing Big Boss after the death of the Boss, and slowly seeing his regret, and Zero's arrogance, and the rise of the patriots, not to mention the unveiling of twists yet to come.

i think mgs5 could be about what raiden was doing after mgs2 and before mgs 4

he did at least 2 to 3 missions in that period
i skimmed the mgs database thingy and rmemeber him doing mission in which he gets capture and turned into a cyborg and a mission to get the remains of big boss and believe he did one other thing as well
so from that alone we could have a 12-15 hour game

i agree that its possible that mgs5 could be a "raiden: lost chronicles" kinda of game. i remember seeing how in one of the trailers of mgs4, there was a young snake lookin-guy going through the middle east chapter where he got shatted on by a bird. he could be a new snake clone since 1) naomi took a few samples of old snakes blood and stored it in a flash drive. what did she do with it? 2) naomi found a new "unknown" strand of foxdie in snakes blood and old snake suspected drebin (who injected him with the nanomachine supressor so he could use the laundered guns). we still dont know drebins true intentions and he himself admitted he was under the orders of the patriots to aid snake. 3) johnny (akiba) looks really similar to snake for some reason even though he was in part 1 (maryl knocked him out and stole his outfit.)

i know that sunnys eggs was an allusion/foreshadowing something in teh future because of how the kojima team but so much detail in those scenes. how the eggs where cracked, how sometyms there was two yokes in one egg. how the eggs fused into one huge yoke. the resolution for the egg scenes jsut gets me wondering what could it mean.

Why would you wanna make a game that explores a story that has been completed in every aspect?!? The Patriots storyline was explained in full detail, and ended, so there is no reason to show how they were formed when it was already explained.

my 2 cents is we will play as johnny....... he kinda had that "heroic" scene where he stood up did "the pose" and took off his head gear. (imo kinda looked like snake).

I've been here and said that and saw this and showed that, here's the real story for MGS5

Sunny is the new Naomi- she was rescued by Raiden in Area 51 when Raiden was being remade a cyborg Ninja. Naomi was rescued by Gray Fox, also Sunny has Solid Snake copy data of his DNA.

Also I believe Sokolov will be the mastermind of MGS5 since he was Zero's close friend and he never died, it was confimred in portable ops and the MGS database. Sokolov in the 1970's produced Metal Gear RAXA, Big Boss destroys, Sokolov then disappeared. Man im good lol.xFullSurfacex

im digging the idea that sunny might take the role of naomi in part5 and she was protective of raiden in act...3 mission briefing (though im not sure how you lknow raiden rescued her from the patriots clutches from area 51). but i have to disagree with the sokolov theory.

in mgs 3 snake eater which took place in 1964, sokolov looked im his mid-late 40's and was married to the young eva at the tym. (i got the date on wiki)

also according to wiki, mgs4 happened in 2014, 50 years later. now if sokolov is the antagonist in mgs5, and mgs5 isnt a prologue like mgs3, he has to be ancient old (90 years old at the youngest). hes gonna be in the wheelchair drooling all overhimself like zero. eva (big momma) looked old in mgs4, think how old sokolov would look, who happens to be 2x her age.

[spoiler] That sleep was for 15 years (Big Boss' fall at Zanzibar Land when he was presumed dead) from 1999 until 2014. And it wasn't when the system was destroyed, it was when Liquid Ocelot took over the system with Solidus' DNA (the perfect clone of Big Boss) that Big Boss had been released. Remember when Big Boss told Snake that "Naomi wanted me to tell you about the new foxdie in your body" where he went on to explain how it also killed Big Mama, etc. Naomi was dead when Snake destroyed the system, would have been difficult explaining it to Big Boss then. No offence, but almost all of the MGS5 theories I've heard have sucked. I don't think a game set after MGS4 would work too well since there's no where you could take it. Without the main cast it just wouldn't be the same.

If they do prequels I'd want them to be set in between MPO and the original MG (a whole 25 years to explore). I personally don't give a damn about what happened to Raiden in between MGS2 and MGS4. It's just not necessary. Whatever he was doing isn't worth dedicating a whole game to.

I care about what Radien does. He rescues Sunny from the Patriots at Area 51, gets captured by the Patriots where they make him a cyborg ninja, and then Big Mama rescues him.

I hope to see johnny as a main character, i think he will make a perfect main character for a metal gear solid game, he sure kicked arse at the end of mgs4
