If you had to name your child after a video game character, then what would you name him/her?

Boy: Blaze (codename for main character in Ace Combat 5)
Girl: Noel (playable character from BlazBlue)

Well if it has to be a video game character then I want original names, names you don't hear everyday you know? That have a sense of uniqueness.
So I'll have to go with Jake for a boy, and Chloe for a girl.

Mario and Simon are the only names that come to my mind.
Boy: Visari
Girl: Kairi (This and Jersey was the two top names for our first baby girl. Jersey won.)
Girl Dog i have now: Dagger
Boy dog i have: Riku
This reminds me of a thread I read a while ago where somebody was considering naming their child Link - unsuprisingly the GS community tore the idea to shreads.
Anyway, I'd go relatively normal...
Girl:Madison (Heavy Rain), Miranda (ME:2) or Joanna (Perfect Dark)
Boy: Guybrush (Monkey Island), Tommy (GTA: Vice City) or maybe Duke (cos my surnaes Newcombe... geddit?)
I think it's a dumb idea to name a kid after a game character, not bashing the thread or anything. I remember seeing some youtube vid of this woman who named her baby Aerith. I thought it was the stupidest thing ever. I like the name Zidane though like from FFIX, and I think Zidane is an actual regular name.

Hahaha. Duke Newcombe would be an awesome name
Master Chief, so when I go to parent-teacher conferences they'll refer to my child like "Master Chief does really well" or "Master Chief is always fighting with other kids"; LOL

Haha. This is funny cause before my son Noah was born I posted a thread in OT asking for video game name suggestions. I think my favorite is Welkin. I don't know if its because I actually like the name or because he was such a great character.A mix of Javi Hernandez from Mexico and Alonso from Liverpool on FIFA.
Javi Alonso.
At least it sounds normal.

Let's see, Boy: Revan Girl: Aerith this would be easier if it were names for pets. Then I'd have no problems going were any character name.SphireYeah, I've had a pet named for pretty much every character in Star Wars, Final Fantasy, and greek Mythology. I currently have a cat named Hermes and a dog named Willow.
