I rented Rise of a ninja last week on xbox 360 so its was a nice coincidence that i got to play ultimate ninja storm demo this week. The fighting in ultimate ninja storm is far mor fun than rise of a ninja. I just hope it has a similar adventure mode. -DeStijl-

not even close...ooooo up oooo..ooooo down oooo..or ooooo R2 + O....or triangle X for a dash....trinagle O for ninjistu....triangle triangle O for ultimate jistu...Square for shurikens....triangle square for chakra shurikens......and theres a bunch of fun mini games in the gameplay...

you can also mix and match...OOOOO X Triangle + Square ( Chakra shuriken )...then triange X for a dash...then oooooo R2 + O

for each character they do something different for each move.

lets just put this way....its the best pick up and play fighting game in the world...

I don't know if ninja storm has an adventure mode, but there's a seqeul to Rise of a ninja, called the broken bond getting release in Nov, Two Naruto games to look forward too

This game lacks so much skill it is basically combo of Triangle Circle and Square master those and you will be fine....

It also sucks how the Modes for characters can be only unlocked at last power bar

This was a great decision. Cause honestly, as much fun as going in Nine-Tailed or Curse Seal 2 in full life in the previous Ultimate Ninja games, it makes the game less cheap.

It should have something "similar" you should try Naruto Ultimate Ninja 1 or 2 (the sotry mode in the 3rd isn't as good imo). Narultimate has been the best Naruto series released in North America so far over every consoles.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 is the best Naruto Ultimte Ninja game in North America so far. It has a good story, and look at how much characters there are.

Demo's awesome... and I don't say this about many of the demos released so far.

Well, the AI is pretty stupid I have to say. I tried 2 games with doing nothing but mashing circle (and I mean not even touching the analog stick) and I won both times without even depleting the first life bar.

Did the same thing as well but have you noticed at times the AI can randomly become aggressive cause i've played like 100 matches already and plenty of times the AI stepped up and fought using all the stuff (substitution dodging,ultimate justus etc).

Cool, im really far in the series, i watch the japanies episode when they are released online, as a matter of fact there should be one out tonight. I dont know where rise of a ninja left off but from the sequal's title i can assume.

Is it made by Ubi Soft? they did a good job, but if ultimate ninja storm has an adventure mode, thats where my money is going. I wish it has shippuden characters :(

I have to dissagree. Its defanitly not your typical fighter. Althought the combos are simple, the way the characters move around the stage and the multiple types of attacks add a different type of depth. Though im judging from a demo..

It also makes it feel more like the show. Typically, those moves are a last resort in a battle. So I think it is pretty sweet that it unlocks only after the fight has been going on for a bit. Plus it adds some nice balance since your moves are much more powerful at that time.
