Hi!

i would have a question, hope somebody can answer it.

I signed a two year contract with my internet connection provider. a year is left now and its a little bit too expensive(two times faster for half the price available now).so i would like to ask you if it could be the reason for breaking the contract from my side if the provider cannot solve me the NAT type 3 issue.i think the provider should offer support and if i need NAT type 2 for proper chat communication and if he cannot solve it i have the right to break the contract. what do you think about it?

Your Nat type has nothing to do with the ISP, its a router issue, which the company usually doesnt even supply. Besides, the speed, so long as you have a 700kbps connection, is more than enough to game with. You can try hooking your ps3 to your modem and disconnect the router to see that its the router that causes the NAT 3. Being directly connected will be a NAT1.

HI,Im just wondering is it THE TYPE OF ROUTER YO HAVE AND ITS SETTINGS that causes your NAT type not the phone line or ISP or PC, its all to do with your router and its settings etc......... my friend bought a new router you see and ive had fierce problems with NAT 3 and his router gave him NAT TYPE 2 straight away without adjusting settings or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
