in a fight? hale hands down, the man goes into any cave, alien crawling facitlities, chimera fortresses or hell itself and he always comes out back alive, it was over exxagerated. but i must say Drake is definitley the cooler and appealing personality.
Drake is cooler...by MUCH, but Hale would win in a fight. It's basically your average joe vs. a chimerian super soldier that doesn't know what death means! 0__0
Hale would kick drakes a$$ in a heartbeat. Drake has A FEWguns.... While hale pretty much has plenty of weapons and they can shoot through walls and crap. And besides hale qould hide for a sec to regenerate health. If neither had weapons or regeneration and it was pure hand to hand hale would still destroy.
They have the same name because it's Insomniac and Naughty Dog ... they always do things together (see Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank on the PS2)
Back on topic ... if Drake had Sully and Elena with him, maybe ... otherwise, it's clearly Nathan Hale

I was surprised that Nathan Hale wasn't an unlockable costume for Drake. I thought that would be an obvious feature, but I guess that they didn't think of that or something.
Insomniac and Naughty Dog are buddies in the gaming industry, so they decided to make "Nathan" their main characters' names for their new franchises as a bit of a joke.
Nathan Drake. Nathan Hale is awesome, I can't deny it, but Drake has more moves. He can actually hide behind cover, and he can melee, which, once he starts, nobody can escape.
This is why third person is better than first in some ways.

As much as i like Nathan Drake (points at PSN Avatar), he wouldn't stand a chance against Nathan Hale in a fight. Hale has Chimera powers, while Drake is an ordinary human.
