I recently had a friend ask me about becoming nauseated while playing GTAIV, and it got me to thinking....I do.

I never realized it during the first weeks when I played the game a lot, but one of the main reasons I never beat the game was because I get headaches from playing it -- extended periods actually leave me very nauseated and sick. I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is about the game, but something about it doesn't sit well with me despite the fact that it's a great game.

On a side note--the drunk driving aspect is sort of ridiculous. I understand you're drunk...but STILL--I get sick from moving around drunk for just a few minutes in the game, whereas in real life it's a lot more manageable.

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else gets bad headaches or motion sickness from playing GTAIV, as I've had multiple friends talk to me about it since then.

Yeah you might be right. I just can't put my finger on exactly what. I can tell you when I first started playing MGS4 I would get killer headaches if I played for more than 2 hours straight...but that changed by the end of it when I was so into the game I didn't notice anything around me.

ROFL, I think I finished even less than that. Also, when and where did epic fail get popular? Ha, I picked it up in Warcraft III: Frozen Throne about a month ago. Was just curious.

i didn't really get a headache from it. I did think that the night was a little too dark and i had to bring the brightness up quite a bit to even see, but playing games for like 3+ hours will give me a headache whenever i get up to go do something. I never really get headaches until after i quit playing. As a matter of fact, if I have a headache, playing video games actually helps it a little lol. Funny...

Yeah GTA IV is sort of nauseating. I just stop playing because it does get boring after awhile. It's just good when Niko makes fun of people.

GTA:4 can get boring. Thats why I only play a little at a time. But then I know liberty city would not be great because the last 2 GTA games in liberty city were boring.
