yes uncharted is an awesome game and it does feel like a survivor horror game near the end of the game. but i wasnt' shocked with those things because some d******d spoiled the game for me before i got the game. but still i enjoyed the game.

I reacted much like I did when I first played through Far Cry, in that I thought to myself 'Well, there goes a perfectly decent story line.'

yeah i was pretty blown away when those things came out. I was like "Holy Jesus!" and then just started running and gunning for the remainder of the game pretty much

yea i hate when games need to use zombies and monsters to add to the story. its like return to castle wolfenstein all over again, it makes the game annoying because i want to rush through it so i can get past that level. anyway when you get outta that place you will be so much happier to be killing people again. and as annoying as the monsters are they make the story work better and towards the end you will find out everything. i was very happy with the ending because they explain unlike wolfenstein where monsters come outof no where and they dont tell you why.

hey have you ever noticed that when a game that involves shooting and killing people and zombies and monsters show up the nazis are involved?? wolfenstein...the name is enough to know its german and you are killing nazis then they dig up something and make a mess. uncharted you are in an underground natzi complex and monsters are around because the nazis screwed up. bloodrayne for the ps2 was a simple vampire game until the nazis started screwing around and bam monsters showed up

I kinda hated it. didn't ruin the game for me tho' since i got to shoot humans again. But, at least it made sense at some point.. now a pink rabbit monster would just have been wrong.

haha i got to that point last night and beat the game this morning.
while i was immediately turned off by them, i do feel by the end they really changed the dynamic of the gameplay and upped the pacing of the game.  and also, we do have to remmeber, this is a video game, not a documentary.  althought i am somewhat mixed on how it affected the overall story- i probably coul dhave done without them.
graphically though, they looked amazing...
