Hey guys, I'm new to these forums and was looking to buy a new game. I haven't really sat down and got involved in a game in awhile. Seeing all these new trailers and e3 demos has really gotten me amped to get into a game again. Seeing the trailer for final fantasy xv really makes me want to play a final fantasy title. I've beaten FF-XIII and thought it was pretty good, was thinking about maybe picking up XIII-2? Also I've heard really great things about the last of us. But I've also gotten fallout 3 which I've never played. I want a game I can really get involved in, so any suggestions (even if I haven't mentioned them) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Personally I'd start with The last of us or If you have not being playing many games recently I'd aslo take a look at what PSN+ has on it as the moment if your Hard Drive can take it.

I would say playstation plus since it's more than one game... for the price of one.

I had fallout 3 on my shelf for almost a year untouched until last weekend. What a crime.

Im addicted now. 25 hours in and im no where close to being done. I spend so much time just wandering around looting and taking everything in, talking to ppl, etc.

You should give it a try.

I recently put 110 hours into Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning and loved every minute of it.

Maybe give that a shot.

I've played about 100 PS3 games and this would be my Top 10:

Red Dead Redemption

Dark Souls

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Portal 2

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

Far Cry 3

Fallout 3

The Last of Us

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Tomb Raider

I would say you can't go wrong with any of these. If you've got Fallout 3, give it a shot... the first few hours of that game (before you get out of the vault) bored the hell out of me, but once you get out into the world, that game is awesome.

This is the exact same thing that happened with me! This was the first game I tried to play on my PS3. I played the first few hours and didn't like it. Like a year later, I gave it another shot, and as I said in my above post, once I got out of the vault and got to Megaton, I fell in love with this game.

So, out of those said 100 games you've played, you only listed those which are already very high-rated or AAA, or already on a Top 10 list. Something is amiss here. And hours before the vault? Are you crazy? Even if you are slow player, the vault takes 45-60 minutes at most. Seriously bro, stahp telling false things to TC.

On-topic, if you have Fallout 3 lying on your shelf, finish it and then return. We'll discuss more then :).
