Hi I love gaming and I have had a PS2 for 6 years, I have decided to buy a PS3 -it was difficult but Tekken 6 persuaded my decision- but the problem is I'm going on holiday in early June, for almost 3 months. Do you guys think I should buy a PS3 when it comes out or buy it once I come back from the holiday?
Well am from the uk to and i say get it when it comes out i am, order it from game there good there i mean it comes out in march and thats like 2 months to play it before u go away so a get it from me.

If you can get one I say go ahead. It's not like there are any kinks that need to be worked out, so it's not really necessary to wait for a later shipment.
Eh...I wouldn't really expect a price drop anytime soon. Personally I don't think they will drop the price anywhere for at least two years, but they definitely have to give the European launch at least one year before they change any prices.

If spending the cash now won't affect your holiday plans go for it. The launch lineup for you is a lot better than we had in North America so you should be able to find enough titles to keep you going.

Price will not drop anytime soon. My thing is if you want the PS3 now then get it not...if you want it later and are not sure of the system then get it later.
