need an advice urgently

hello everyone, i need an advice about what game should i buy, i need a very last appealing game, cause i dont buy games often, i played mgs 2 before, and i liked it, but some peoples says that unless i dont play the first one and the third one, i wont enjoy from the guns of the patriots one... i go buy the game in 30 mins, so please post your advice...

and btw, sorry for my bad english...

MGS4 is direct sequel to MGS2 in terms of timeline within the story.

Playing other 2 helps, but even if you didn't it doesn't mean you can't enjoy MGS4

The first one is definately the most important one to play. The others not so much, but you're going to miss out on a lot of the references to the previous games. You can still enjoy it without playing the others, but I highly suggest you play the first one at least.caseystryker

The problem is, that i dont have the ps2 anymore, and my ps3 is 40G...

mgs4!!! never played a previus mgs game and its still great
