Ok so here's the deal.. I have a broadband connection that i have to log on to each time i want to use the internet..

The modem has 2 ethernet ports.. One's connected to my Laptop and the other to my ps3..

But because of this log on to use problem.. I can't connect my ps3 to the internet.. Hence no online gaming

Im using a Lenovo SL400 and it has wireless internet..

So is there anyway i can log onto the net in my Laptop.. and then send the signal through my lap and probably the ps3 can recive this signal.

Or else is there some way I can share the connections since both the ps3 and laptop ethernet cables are connected into the same modem?

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

P.S : i hope this is in the right forum.. i posted this on both the ps3 and pc hardware discussion forum's

Maybe there's a way to login to your broadband connection automatically? Check your modem's setting or call your ISP. Either that or change your connection to an automated one. One last ditch effort would be to try connecting via your laptop before using the connection on your PS3. Sorry if this isn't much help.

Once you have connected to the internet with your laptop, does your PS3 connect to the internet through the other port? If not, I would try to connect your laptop wirelessly to the internet and connect your PS3 to your laptop via ethernet (you will need to share your internet connection).
