Any router should work. I myself use Netgear, but I hear that D-Link and Linksys work just as great, if not better.

Any router really. Check cnet for reviews or a large retailer like amazon. The routers that sell well and have high rating.

Personally I prefer Linksys, but I'm currently using verizon's modem/wireless router. It's ok, but it doesn't have the stongest signal.

I.ve heard the NEW BT HOME HUB is meant to be really good, obviously wireless but also has 4 ethernet ports, old home hubs have had problems but apparently this one (that came out few days ago) has got rid of all the previous probs, plus its BT, ok its not amazing broadband, but if you get a prob with line or summat you wont get referred to AOL or VIRGIN if you ring BT and there is a prob with your line. All your services are with BT so they have to fix it. Otherwise you may get BT saying to contact Virgin and Virgin saying to contact BT. Ive had no probs with my home hub *touch wood* easy to set up and easy to fix. Just my opinion.

I agree I own a linksys and it seems like my connection with my PS3 is better being wireless than wired. You might also want to check your Internet configurations and make sure you have the proper ports opened.
