Hi Everyone,

I'm not much of a console gamer, but I recently got myself a PS3 for the sake of social/group gaming. If anything, I'm way more familiar with the 360 than the PS3, so I found it baffling that I couldn't find a way to create in-game profiles for my friends (for example, within Black Ops, Blur, etc.). I know how to do this on the 360, but perhaps I'm just not understanding how profile creation works on the PS3. Could someone please point me towards the right direction?

You cannot have multiple profiles signed in at once on PS3. Some games support more than 1 person playing together on 1 ps3 online and player 2 would carry your gamertag with a number next to it.

I would like to add a welcome and some things are lacking on PS3 but for the most part I personally have a more enjoyable exp. on the PS3 than I did with my other console and no monthly fees. A side note, the triangle button is your friend, you'll find alot of not so appearant options using it like when you hook up a usb drive and don't see your files you'll hit triangle and select display all, just a heads up.

Welcome to PS3. Be sure to check out the games recomendation threads if you want some ideas.

As 360hammer said the triangle button is our friend on XMB. You will find some differences in the interface from 360 with regards friends and sociablity but you get used to it :)

Welcome again and be sure to check out the great exclusives..theres sure to be a few you'll fall in love with due to the variety!

Not entirely right: It's possible in Little Big Planet. But I've never seen any other game.

I wasn't aware of that, nice info as maybe more games will start supporting multiple profiles.
