I played COD4 for a year and got to Gold Cross 55 (insert "big deal rookie?" comment here). that was my first FPS. I tried Resistance 2 and didnt like, I am trying COD: Workd at war and seems like aiming and controls are off? I want another game and cant tedcide between: Bioshock, Dark Space, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2 and Socom. Anyone have suggestions?

Additional info: mainly getting for online play?

Fallout 3 is not an FPS, just so you know.

Well... I Don't Recommend Bioshock strictly for the reason that it is not a very good FPS in terms of combat... But the storyline is EXCELLENT!

Socom is online only BTW.

Fallout3 had great combat and a mediocre story line...

Deadspace is HELLA FANTASTIC!

But those are all the games that i have played.

If your money is limited like mine, I would recommend waiting a month for Killzone 2. The closed beta for the multiplayer has been out for a while, so you can check out footage on YouTube and Gametrailers. The way I think of it is that Killzone 2 has superior production values and unprecedented technical achievements compared to the other console FPS games, so you get the best experience out of it.

Also, the multiplayer itself is incredible, and you can read all about it here.

By the way, you should add me on PSN because I'm only level 22 on COD4 and it will make you feel better about your skills. I try to be crafty on COD4, but get frustrated at the superior skills of the other players who know the maps and aim faster than I do. I typically get an 8:8 score on COD4 and GTA4 multiplayer, sometimes 8:7 if I'm lucky.

Dude, its dead space and it's a third person shooter. I would say wait for killzone two as the multiplayer games on your list arent the best{far cry 2 and scom}
