Need help head phones

I need a set of headphones with a mic for ps4. The problem I encounter is that to plug into the controller and ps4 is very short. Is there a headset that I can use while sitting on the sofa and playing on my flatscreen? Any help would be most welcome and Thank you in advance!

Ditch "gaming" headsets and don't listen through your controller. It's terrible audio quality.

I recommend Philips Fidelio X2 + JDS Labs Objective 2 or Astro MixAmp Pro TR + Antlion ModMic 4.0.

Yeah, I would go with the PlayStation Gold Wireless Headset (Own a pair). It's wireless and works great.
