Need help in Uncharted

Man, I am definitely no RPG guy, but I am still enjoying the game very much and probably will play it again no doubt. It's so fun fighting the pirates!!

Anyway, I am at the part where I have to move some statues named Mark, Luke, John, and Mathew. they tell you to look at the booklet, but I can't figure out what they want me to do. I turned the statues so they are all facing the compassor whatever, but nothing happened. Could anybody tell me what to do? Thanks.

If you lookin your journal you'll see that the statues are facing a certain direction on the compass (North south east or west). You just have to adjust the statues so that they face the directions they're facing in the journal
