Hey everyone, I'm trying to continue playing GTA4 but my PS3 won't read the game anymore... It just gives the loading motion in the upper right corner, but it doesn't load. :( I also tried loading FIFA 08, a DVD and one of my CD's... all nothing. Anyone had this issue, or has an idea about what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance!
sounds like your blu-ray drive crapped out. i haven't had that problem, but i've seen other people that have. i'm pretty sure there's another thread about it somewhere.

Unless you just want to sit there and look at the screen then dont call sony. If you want your blu ray drive fixed and want to play games then yeah you should call sony.

Same thing happened to me a little over a month ago. Got my PS3 back 2 weeks ago after it got repaired by Sony. Call them and they will send you a box to send your PS3 in. Just hope it is still under warranty and you still have the reciept, or else it will end up costing you about $150.
