recap: can I get my PsP (if I get one) can I connect to the internet and play games online without a router via: wired or something else (something like the nintendo wi-fi adaptor) ??? HELP PLZ........^_^

You have dial up? um, best bet is to find an internet cafe because the broadband and wireless router you are going to need will cost as much as the PSP.

I doubt you'll be able to do anything with a dial-up connection, but regardless, Nintendo's Wi-Fi adaptor is designed only to work with the DS and Wii. You can hook up your PSP to your computer via a USB connection, but I don't think that will let you play games over the internet... just let you download firmware upgrades. I could be wrong, though.

Last time I checked the PSP can't be played online without Wi-Fi. Sony should look into that though. ;)
