Ok I got a 80GB for Christmas and so far I have downloaded MKII (248 MB.) Saves MKII (104 KB), GTHD (140 KB), MotorStorm (725 KB) Spider Man 3 (204 KB), CoD 4 (663 KB.) Game Data CoD 4 (11 MB.) Video DMC 4 trailer (212 MB.) Pics pic1 (670 KB), pic2 (548 KB), pic3 (596 KB.) Then when I look at my system settings the free space on my HDD is 64/74GB. Am I missing something here? All this doesn't seem to add up to that much, plus why don't I have a ratio of 64/80GB? I am totally confused, any help would be great!

Wow I didn't think they would take up that much space! Can I delete them? And why don't I have 80GB to start with?

Whenever you buy a HDD or flash drive or anything with memory, you never get the full amount that it says it has.

It's the same deal with iPods. You buy an 8gig nano, you only really get like 7.4gigs out of it.

It is all firmware. But they don't stack up. Usually everytime there is a firmware update it replaces the old software on the system.

You can't remove it or you would just have a black screen.

OS and system setting make it drop to 74GB out of 80

the rest is all the saved data you have
