need some real help

ive been playing ps3 online and out of nowhere,the ps3 cant detect any access points?what has appened.my brother was fiddling around with it which i dident mind,then when i go on it to play a good match of mgs3 online,i was shocked to see it dont see no wireless points.

so like a idiot i thought ill try some ways.and here is what STUPID stuff i did

1 - tryied scanning for my router but it wont detect so i started cursing it

2- i thought it was just my router because i changed it from wpa to WEP so i can play my DS online,so i changed my router settings.only to find out i messed my whole internet and couldent use the internet for a while. and this is where the DAMAGE really happened.no internet help = me cursin my ps3 tryna work it,so here comes the big blow

3-i see restore system setings on the ps3.i click it and went to format the WHOLE PS3....i thought oh shhhh 11111111 teeeeeeee so i canceled the full format on 1% only to see "system can no start up,you HAVE to format HD,so i lost my tekken,all my saved games.

4- started cursing alot

5 - started cursing more

6 - got tired of cursing

7 - somehow fixed my internet back to WEPand here i am.

so my question is ......"is there anything wrong with my ps3 wireless.it dont detect nothing.even after the full format

i dont think u understand...it scans but scans nothing.why does it do that.

i know it was stupid to wipe my HDD but lets just say the anger got the better of me.bisterdsss

MGS3 online stop working months ago. The servers were shut down.
