Heres the thing, i tried to reset my PS3 via the "hold the power button " method but it won't work .

Is there any other way it'll reset so i can play it on my non HD tv ?

I'm moving it from HDMI connection to a Component connection

Hold the button in the middle of your controller. I don't get what you're asking, how to turn your PS3 off?

if you want to move from hd to sd tv why dont use the display settings intead the reset? Its more secure, dont you think?.Ok if you whant reset the ps3 (whem it crash surfin a heavy site for example) just hold the power botton till its bip, that work for me (or use the main pawer back the console...)

first off use the av cable on the sdtv then go to display setting change the cable to component. Turn off system change to componen cable and see if it that works.

turn off your ps3

turn the power on the back off

unplug it

plug back in

switch the power on (the light should be red after this)

then put your finger on the reset button (do not take it off after the system is on, just keep on holding it down.
