I want NetFlix. What do I need to do to get it on my PS3 -- sign up online or on the PS3?

you will have to sign up online for the netflix service then you will sign into your account on your ps3 just like you would on your PC and you will be good to go. IMO its not that great if i did not have a child i would have cancelled but it has enough to keep her busy when i need it

The netflix streaming is pretty limited. It isn't worth the $7.99 for that alone so getting dvds/blu ray is a must in my opinion. However, I just use redbox because it is only $1 to rent, I get free promos and they are pretty much everywhere around me.

yah its VERY Limited as far as streaming and then if you get DVD its what like 9.99 then to boot if you want blu rays its like 2$ more on top of that. I promise you will not get by on just streaming like i said it has a lot of kids stuff so its good for me at the moment but they have nothing really new except for certain movies but not ones you will care about all that much and nothing that just hit stores

Streaming is limited, but dont let them fool you..theres a LOT there. Ive watched so many things off my PS3 its not funny. Plus you can still order dvd's thru the mail from them for free. Ive gotten my moneys worth IMO, plus I have the app on my Iphone so I can watch Netflix anywhere I am.

I disagree, I watch a TON of instant viewing content. Yes you don't get the new releases on instant viewing, but I can't really believe that people are expecting that. The $9.99 plan is great in my opinion and well worth the money.

Please like 80% of the instant things you can stream are no name friggin movies no one has hardly ever heard of. IMO this is the perfect quantity over quality scenario

Yeah it is limited for instant. Most of the stuff you either never heard of, have no interest in watching or have seen it.. with that said i still don't regret having it. Most things that i have searched can't be viewed for instant but that's why they send it in the mail.

Independent and low budget movies, if done correctly, are usually better than any recycled garbage that Hollywood puts out now.

I've seen a bunch of movies I've never heard of that Netflix has recommended that I've really liked that streamed. Sure you aren't going to be able to stream new releases, but that's what the in the mail DVDs are for.

exactly what this guys is saying. For 8 dollars a month Im watching a lot of tv series and some movies here and there, but what I enjoy watching the most is all the documentaries and A&E shows. Since I do not have cable (care not to have it) I like the instant streaming. Also I dont care if It doesnt have the latest and greatest, i will just by them on blueray anyway if I like it so much. Just try the 31 day free trial and if you like it keep it, if not just cancel your subscription.
