Hello,

I recently converted to using the built in app for Netflix streaming instead of the disc. I love it except for the fact that it does not display properly on my television. The image appears to be too wide for my TV screen, and I can not figure out how to readjust the aspect ratio.

I have connected the PS3 via the component cables and am using a 1080i connection. Everything else I display appears properly. I have attached two pictures of Netflix loading up so that you can see what I am talking about. Sorry for the blurry photos...my camera is not great.

If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

First Image...it appears that wide screen mode is set right.

Second Image...a small portion of the screen on both sides is cut off and is displaying outside of the TV screen parameters.

That's really weird, almost as if the cross media version of Netflix isn't using overscan correctly. Have you tried playing with some of your TV settings? If I came across a weird bug like that I think my TV has a native/natural swap under the video settings/scaling options, although it may have a different name on another brand of TV.

Hmm, I checked through my tv settings numerous times it doesn't make any difference. Any other ideas? The movies/tv shows show up perfectly it's just the interface that's very confusing.

I had the SAME problem, after pullin my hair out I remembered that you can delete and reinstall the application. Do that. And for me it fixed this display issue.

I am having the same problem as Zarakand. I've tried 3 times to uninstall and reinstall Netflix on my PS3. It still shows the same display. It is very annoying. Was there a PS3 update that changed the display, up until a month ago I had the proper display.

The PS3 has a problem with those older 1080i televisions. What do you have selected as your video output? Try changing it.
