never preording something on psn again

i preordered grim fandango on my ps4. game goes live but i cant play it for 8 hours cause the countdown hasnt reach midnight tomorrow yet.

waiting til tomorrow is stupid by itself but i delete the game to redownload it hoping that when it redownloads the timer wont be there (sense the game is live). but i cant redownload it at all cause the psn page of the game still says "start" where it should say "download" and when i click on it it says the game cant be found it then takes me back to the psn page for the game which still says "start" instead of "download" so now i cant play the game, or even download it.

this glitch is unacceptable and i already called playstation support and im already getting a refund, guess ill play the game on my vita in the meantime, but i want to play the game on my ps4.

Wait what's going on? Did you do something wrong and now it's broken, or were we never intended to play until tomorrow?

Yeah, I guess I'm asking for clarification on how you got into that state. i.e. - should none of us try to download it until tomorrow?

@xantufrog: oh, well i dont know. im thinking it should be fine for most people. i dont know what caused it on my end, aside from deleting it. which shouldnt have caused such an issue, but oh well.

I don't understand the point in preordering online. Preorders are meant to secure copies on day of release. You're purchasing online, so you'll always have access to a copy.

Well it discouraged you from preordering.

I suppose it depends on where you live. I preordered Resident Evil Remake HD on PS4 and got to download it 2 hours before midnight my time. It goes off of east coast time in America. People on the west coast get to download 3 hours early.

Anyway, the download was quick. The game was awesome.
