No word yet. SCE has said they would be releasign fewer firmware updates but with more features. They've noted that they're working on in-game XMB and Home. Home is due out in the Spring.
I'd like at least one Firmware update before HOME. It seems like we're about due for one. It's been a while. I'd defenitly like to see in-game XMB. Other than that, any new features SCEA can come up with, fine by me. I don't really get the point of home. You customize your avatar, then run around for awhile in a virtual world earning medals and stuff for finishing games and inviting other people to play games with you/come into your "room." Point? I also don't quite understand how it will be dilivered. Is it going to come standard in a Firmware update, or is it going to be downoadable from PSN? If the latter, will you have to pay for it?

Sweet Jebus don't make me think of that right now. Not to mention how laggy it's gonna be with every single PS3 user using it at the same time. But I think they had something worked out for that. Like not everyone on the same city, but multiple dimensions of the same city.
But I'm sure the download will turn out to be worth it.

lol i remember that, me and 7friends were racing to see who could DL it faster and it took all of us around 45mins-1hour...that was the longest wait ever...2weeks later i dl it agian it took 15mins
