New footage from the canned Eight Days

If anyone remembers Eight Days it was one of the games Sony showed off when they unveiled the PS3. About two years later the game was canceled to allow development to go to other projects. This was quite a shame as Eight Days looked like it could be a good game and a premier franchise for the PS3. Today some leaked images and footage from the game has leaked and it shows off a few environments and action scenarios. It was also revealed today that Gary Oldman was going to co-star in the game too.

Yea I remember that game, I remember that I was pretty excited about it back then. Would be great if it still got released.

Thats pretty cool. But at the begining was that a parking lot of skylines? And one BMW?

But I dunno, it might've been a good idea to can this(no flaming intended), since all the gameplay elements here can be found in uncharted.

I have a feeling that it will be anounnced in development since look at what sony are doing now they are getting the SLIM soldout the Go! coming out L.A noire coming soon chinatown wars assassins creed bloodlines AGENT FFXIV i mean i bet u they are announcing it either TGS or next E3

It's a shame this got cancelled, but I think there is still a chance that we will get Eight Days and The Getaway at some point. The official reason Sony gave for the cancellation of Eight days was because they couldn't put any online modes in it or something like that. With the success of Uncharted and Infamous (both games without online) Sony might realise that not everyone has to have online play to enjoy a game, or they could do the obvious thing and add online.

I for one would preffer to be playing Eight Days and The Getaway instead of EyePet.

yeah that game is cool replaced by eyepet ohh well. But what caught my attention if you click on the ps3 for news Fairytale game you receive a trophy for killing 1,000 kids:twisted: anyone hear of this game.

Yeah this game looks BA. Bring it back.
