New Game Smell

You mean that smell after you open up a game?

Are you freaking kidding me? The first thing I do opening a game is smelling the inside of the case. Trust me, there's a fresh game smell every time.

I was hoping people would read outside of the lines and start talking about new game smell.

Strange, because I've noticed the new game smell with all of my new games.

I was thinking about it just last week when I unwrapped Resistance 2 and Gears of War 2.  Both gave me the sweet new game smell.

I remember last gen that new games had a particular smell.

Xbox games seemed to stronger, though.

Last generation there was a weird scent inside the case of each game that wore off as you played the game more, since you're constantly opening and closing the case.

i never knew there was a smell. :? but what i do love is when you unwrap a new game and feel the case.

Fracture, Mercenaries 2, Resistance 2 (a little bit), and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (if you can find a new copy) all have that smell. It's awesome.

New games don't smell the way they used to.

Little Big Planet smelled pretty good; Mercenaries 2 smelled horrible.  :(

The amazing aroma comes from the paper material used to distribute the instruction booklets. And about the panties, watching Menia and Lucy have "fun" while you watch in bewilderment and sniffing the panties is what I would prefer.Ultrabeatdown55

Agreed.  And it may be weird but to me, Konami games have the best smell, and no I'm not kidding.

Smell is of plastic which could be Toxic, Chinese one especially ( Ubisoft Shanghai ) for example, take care my fellow gamers and dont give into your cravings to smell umm.. things. Toxic Panties rock though smell it all u want :) less chance of getting Self-ownd.kar008
