A system that does not break as easily. To this date i havent heard of any large PS3 problems... The Xbox 360 on the other hand has had major failure rate when compared to the PS3.

As of now you might go to the shelfs in your local game store and notice that there arnt so many interesting titles for the PS3 out (atleast here in norway). But this comming week and time forward many exiting titles will be ariving to the PS3.. to mention some. Assassins Creed, Haxe, Uncharted and so forth..

And most of all the PS3 does not have a RROD ( Red ring of death ) wich is the signal for the Xbox 360 overheating. To get your PS3 overheated you have to put it in an very confined space.

Ive never ovned an Xbox 360, and i dont see myself doing so aswell.. tho thats primerily because ive bought a PS3 and well i got other things to use my money on than yet another system. If i were to chose again.. i would still go for the Playstation 3. Due to being so happy with the other PS systems.

Do this. Go the PS3 section of Gamespot, then scroll down to the bottom section of the page where it shows you the top 10 most popular games on the PS3. Now change that top 10 list to the Top 10 highest rated. There's your reasons.

You probably wouldn't want something that WILL give you problems somewhere down the road. The Xbox 360 is not as reliable. It's made of cheap plastic and tin foil, it overheats, you can get the external coolers, but you'll void your warraty. Not very good service.

The PS3 has what, 9 cores? Developers are using 20-30% of the PS3's power. While one of the best looking 360 titles, Gears of War, is pushing the system to its limits.

Forget all the hardware issues becuase its better than it was and the warranty is much more tired of hearing thats y you should not get a 360. They are both good systems xbox has much more games, but ps3 much more good games IMO that are exclusive to the console. Online is free for now after that its up to you as far as prices and other stuff like being able to upgrede the HDD for cheaper etc.
