New Gaming

What do you want to see in the next big game? Something impressive, new, fresh. For example, LBP was a game that I never expected to see this generation. Or Call of duty 4's tuning of the FPS genre. Even though these two games had features I never imagined, I have yet to see many things that should've been accomplished by now, ie a sports game with non repetitve commentating and the ability to say the player's name.

What do you think?

I would be very pleased to be able to change the normal course of a game by pressing square instead of triangle. I think the "heavy rain" team is trying to acomplish that. This would mean 5-6 different scenarios for the same game and I don't know if this is possible just yet. Gaming nowadays seem to rely strongly on online play. Therefore there are not many games out there with a good story. Improving the single player modes and stories would also be something I'd like to experience.
