New Getaway pics!!

I'll have to learn how to link things one day. These pics absolutely look better than what we saw for GTAIV. This is what a Sony game built solely for pS3 will look like. I must say that I looked at em and couldn't tell some from real life. I know these are only pics and the game has yet to be seen in motion but this is certainly a good start.  

Better than GTAIV? Anyone agree with me? And....the game is built by Sony so it'll take advantage of the next gen storage ability of the blu-ray disc. We could be looking at a game potentially better than GTAIV. I know I know....it's very early. But Rockstar made GTAIV for both. The PS3 version will, more than likely, be identical to the 360 version. This game is built from the ground up for our PS3. I like what Sony is doing. Hopefully they share the goods with 3rd parties so everyone will have an easier time making games for PS3.

imho these pics look way better than the gtaIV trailer... but i never liked the getaway and i liked gta a lot better. so it will be the gameplay that will decide.

and don't forget the first pics of the getaway for the ps2 ... those looked almost identical to these :P

What does "anti-alliasing" mean?dahaka_1

It's a process that is used to get rid of jagged lines etc the more layers of AA used the better the image but it needs a lot of processing power to maintain a good frame rate at high levels of AA. 

wow deffintly does look nice, ill go as far as sayin the colors and lighting look better then the screens/trailer of gtaIV did, but its to close to call anythin else for me-DirtySanchez-

because its not a multiplat game... no wonder sony didn't pursue to keep gta4 exclusive

because they have this game, and they're taking a big chance.

yes it is, at GDC, Phil showed in game demonstration, Playstation Edge was used to make it.

he also said that it took two months to make it.... 

The game certainly looks nice- better than GTA4. But unfortunately, Team Soho has yet to actually get the gameplay down based off the previous two versions.

 I won't have my hopes set to high, but the graphics are certainly nice.
