In the next 30 days I've savedto buy quite a few games, one being Uncharted 3.

My 80gb PS3 is from Winter 2009. I'm out of HD space, and I've been deleting Game Data. I just don't want to buy a new HD and then have my PS3 brick.

The Uncharted PS3 Bundle is a great deal.

Thoughts?

If I was you I would buy a nice 500gb HDD, subscribe to PSN+ and then upload all of your save game data to the PSN cloudbefore you upgrade the HDD. Save the rest of that $ for games.

You are worrying about something that may never happen.

Does the Cloud backup go away as soon as you unsubscribe? How much is that subscription?

I don't have the answer to your first question, but I would assume so I suppose.

The subscription price varies, but for a whole year PS+ is $50 (Free games, discounts on DLC and games, Free DLC, Free Themes, PS+ Cloud saving, etc.).

I actually avoided PS+ for the first year, and then when PSN went down and I got a free month of PS+, that won me over, and since then, I've already got my monies worth.

I got RE1 -3 for free, I got RE4 HD and RE:Code Veronica HD for $10 instead of $20, I got a discount on SFIII Online, I got Costume Quest, Plants Vs. Zombies, and other cool games for free. So, that's my story, and yes, I've been a paying member of Xbox Live for almost a decade.

The Cloud saving is great too if you have more than one PS3, as you can transfer your saves between consoles.

IF your not attached to your 80Giger. First gen 80Giger or Second Gen 80Giger? One has 4 USB ports and the Memorycard/Memory stick duo slots and is the Fabled Backwards compatible model.

So if you not worried about that I would upgrade to the current 320Giger Slims before the new PS3 3000 series second generation slims arrive. Sony has cut Blu-Ray AV standard cable support. But is slight lighter and with a quieter fan. So If you don't have the 1st Gen 80Giger and are not worried about more "lost" features get a 320Giger Slim (first gen)

But the Uncharted 3 bundle is a new Playstation 3 (3000 series) So your going to have to buy a HDMI cable if you already don't have one?
