new hdtv lcd

i want to get an lcd hdtv for a ps3 i am getting soon. i want to get an 26" preferably. i want one between about $300-$450. what i want to know is what specs on the tv i need to worry about for a good gaming experience and what the specs should be. LIke the contrast ratio and such

You have a realistic price range for that size which is good.

Here's the thing you will probably get locked in this forum. you need to post this in the A/V forums and you will get better answers with quicker ressponses. I would give you suggestions but I don't have time to "shop" for you at the moment.

sony or samsung model with high contrast ratio and low response time.

second to that resolution and hardware stability!

samsung is cheaper than sony tho =/

but ur going to get a small hdtv, so small lcd tv doesnt really have any hardware issue =/

so id say go for samsung
