"Using the latest version of the CryEngine, Aion: Tower of Eternity is an expansive new MMORPG by NCsoft's Seoul development studios. Honestly I don't care about this. Because I got tired of those swords, bows and arrows and spells. I'm going to wait when they will port Tabula Rasa.

Just the barrens with upped graphics to me. WoW rocks hardcore though, so if it was i wouldnt complain

if you were to make an rpg woudlnt you want it to be like wow?

besides the graphics are similar to wow but the game can be completely different.

at least they didnt try and copy maplestory

If there must be a visual comparison I would imagine FFXI would be the obvious choice.

I hope and pray they aim higher than WoW. The game mechanics are so stale.

worst possible news ever for this game. i was a diehard Lineage 2 fan, and was looking forward to Aion, but for anyone that has seen and played FFXI for PS2, you know that MMOs just arent meant to be on consoles. the controller just isnt made to work that well. here is hoping they do MOUSE and keyboard support, since i can garauntee keyboard support atleast.

no mouse means i dont play this game. the interface is just sooooo jacked up on FFXI because it has to cater to gamepad users.

it will have a fee sorry.... Guild Wars isnt an MMO, and every other MMO from NCSoft has a fee related to it.

Nothing groundbreaking here. World of Warcraft comes to mind when I saw those screen shots. mrvic87

yeh alot of ppl are givin that comparison. But lets hope the game is further developed and enhanced to really become something worth playin, cause it would be fun to hav a MMO on PS3, aside from all the shooter online games we have.

I played FFXI on my ps2 and liked it alot and got used to playing that game on a controller.

The only MMO i played are Space Cowboy, Maplestory, and Runescape, long time ago.

yummmm another RPG by NCsoft, the makers of guild wars! loved that game, hopefully ill love this, unless its zactly like GW cuz i got pretty bored pretty quik after hitting 20 with many characters.... hopefully something more along the lines of WoW

Don't hold your breath, TR for PC wasn't all that great.

I know, played closed BETA, it looked more like 3rd person shooter. I like ranged stuff, even in WoW only played with hunter and nothing else. I think TR would work better on consoles , the controls are there ( its not demanding allot of on screen clicking :) ) and it's more action oriented.

I hope they bring Tabula Rasa to ps3 as well.

Played on the beta and gotta say while there was issues which you expect being a beta it was quite fun to play and I'm not massively into mmorpg type games.

Plus my graphics card is rubbish on pc and will look ten 10 times better for me on the ps3.

will there be a subscription fee on the PS3/??
