New Official PS3 Wireless Gaming Headset

It's awesome, I just got mine today and its quality and sound is quite incredible. Loving the wireless features and Digital 7.1 Surround Sound. For the price of $99.99 it is an awesome deal compared to other wireless gaming headsets. Also a lot of positive reviews on YouTube.

My personal review so far...

Great wireless gaming headset with 7.1 Digital Surround Sound made specifically for the PS3. Battery life is great and easily syncs up to the PS3. Headset can be charged on a PC or PS3 with the USB cable from a PS3 dualshock controller. Quality of headset is amazing while playing video games or listening to music. Also has an awesome retractable mic that is noise canceling.

just wondering does all the game audio work though blutooth other than voice or is there IR?

does this headset allow you to adjust the game noise such as the balance between large explosions and footsteps? I belive that is one of the reasons for getting the other headsets. that way you can tune into the noises that help you locate enemy players easier.

So can you let us know if the surround sound feature works for blurays? I thought I read that it didn't, which would be a total deal breaker :?

does it randomly disconnect you from the playstation network? I also just bought it today and I used it for like 10 minutes and then it disconnected me.

This is one really great deal. I'm going to pick this up come November when I purchase Uncharted 3. I feel like one of those guys in that commercial for the headset now lol.

I have yet to watch a blu ray since I wanted this mainly for gaming but when I was listening to music on ps3, the 7.1 surround sound was on and you can hear the difference when you switch between stereo and surround sound. Im pretty sure it works but if it doesn't I'm sure Sony can patch it in there. For examle, you need firmware 3.70 at least in order for your PS3 to work with the headset so I'm sure they can patch it to work with movies as well. : )

I just pretty much opened the box, turned on ps3, then connected the usb plug, then turned on the headset, then it connected automatically. I also double checked the accessory settings to make sure it was connected and it was all fine.

You're probably right, but I'm not to worried about it anyways. Main reason I bought these were for gaming purposes not for watching movies anyways so I am extremely pleased with my purchase. : )

I would just go to the store and get a new pair or just try to pair them up again or sheck your settings.
