New PS3 buyer

Hey all

Well I have had a 360 since it went live and I wanted to get some feed back on the PS3. I cant see a price drop any time soon and I wanted to get one (I am not pro 360 or pro PS3 so dont think I am trying to set off the fan boys). But I do think that some PS3 games have a big WOW factor to them, like Motostorm and Warhawk. Now the PS3 pack I am getting has the PS3+2Trolers+Motostorm+Resistance. But I am getting it for Warhawk and Heavnlysword. I also Wana give lair a try to.

I am starting to get **** with the 360 and the amount of **** lag I get on shooter games. The thing I wanted to ask is if the PS3 is the same as PS2 where we could only get Australian severs. Even with ADSL2 I still Lag on games like Gears of War and it **** me to high hell! but when I play Forza I get no lag at all. I just wanted to know if its still Australian only severs.

The other thing I wanted to ask is if any one has had any hardware problems with there systems and has had to send them off to sony for repairs? I havent had to send my 360 off but I just wana make sure is all.

1 Last thing. What is the best thing you like about PS3? and why? and what is your Fav. game? and why? O yer also, is there any ppl who still play Motostorm online and do people still play it.

thanks for the replys guys! See the thing is, is that the 360 Lags on any FPS game I play, Even rainbow 6. I think the reason why I never laged on the Ps2 and why I think I also wont lag on PS3 is because Sony has a HQ down in Australia, Microsoft dont. Thus we will have dedicated severs.

I sont know about getting NinjaG. I played both of them and I liked them alot but just alittle extra content might not be much for me to get it, but I'll give it a shot, I really wana get Warhawk, that game looks like BF2 on Crack! and I must get Heavenly Sword.

LittleBigPlanet looks..............interesting, cant see the point of it but looks fun from the trailers.

ps3 has a great 2008 line-up, and likely by then there will be another price-drop.

as for getting it now, I wouldn't advice to do so, unless of course, I already purchased a ps3 and wanted more people to join the club.

as for lag, geow is just retarded. I've stopped playing that game online because there are no Israeli players for the most part and playing in the US is just painful.

PS3 isn't too shabby online, though.

Owning both these consoles is the absolute best position you can be in. :)

Let me say this - the 360 has allot of good games now and a few good ones coming.

The PS3 has a few good games now - and a HUGE amount of great exclusives coming.

You will be happy to own both and have the choice of all the good games available - as the PS3's power is only now just starting to be tapped - you are going to see a huge evolution in the "WOW" factor over the next 6 months or so on the PS3.

Buy a PS3 - you won't regret it. :)
