New PS3 font/logo... love it or hate it?

I don't mind it. The new logo fits with the new design, but I can't imagine the slim with the old logo.

I do prefer the Spidey font though, it looks sleeker.

thats exactly what i was thinking, i keep saying that they shoulda used this design-

if i didn't already own a PS3 then i would like one of those in my house but the real PS3 slim design looks cheap and tacky.

Does this mean that they will be changing all the font on the side of the cases of the games etc.

hopefully not.

I don't mind it, looks similar to the PS2 logo so I guess the casuals will pick up on this and buy the PS3, ofcourse the the cheaper price will also help.

I like the new design but what does it matter? It's still the samebeast the old one is.

when i first saw it in the fake leaks, i thought "comeon atleast make a better logo". But =.= Thats their real logo. BRING BACK THE SPIDER MAN FONT!!!

I hate it now that I found out they are changing the box art too... I'm going to have a bunch of games with the old logo and a bunch of games with the new logo.. Its gonna look like they're from 2 different systems all mixed together on my shelf

Does any of this matter. Didn't they alter the branding of previous console redesigns, like PSOne. People criticize every move Sony makes in good faith. First people were up in arms over their "stealing" of the Spiderman font, now everyone is mad that they change it. They are intentionally trying to make it look less intimidating and more user friendly to go along with the lower cost.

Well on the other hand I have my own opinion about Sony's new model! I like it! I think it looks good unlike the bulky one. Im sorry but everyone has their own opinion!

Spiderman font is good for the full name and the Logo font is awesome for an abbreviation.

I don't like it at all. I much prefer the Spiderman font.
