New ps3 gamer loving it

Ok so no video games for 10 years since I had a ps2- kids, wife etc got in the way. Got a ps3 super slim 500gb for Christmas and loving it! So far for gran turismo 6, last of us, fifa 13, xcom enemy unknown, batman arkham city and just ordered skyrim legendary edition. Any other games you recommend?

• "God of War Saga Collection" contains some of the best Hack n Slash games ever made with about 50 hours of gameplay

• Okami HD is a critically acclaimed open world adventure game with a Metascore of 90% it has a cel-shadded art style that looks fantastic Okani is about 40 to 60 hours long and its only 13$ on psn

• Infamous Collection open world action adventure game where you plays as a hero or anti-hero who can control electricity contains about 50 hours of gameplay

• "Demon's Souls" or "Dark Souls" if you want a little bit of a challenge action rpg both games combined have 200+ hours of gameplay

• Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition open world action adventure game taking place in the Wild West contains about 40 hours of gameplay and it has a fantastic zombie add-on content

Mass effect Trilogy. All 3 are worth your time.

Also Fallout 3 and Fallout new Vegas.

Those will keep you busy.

Gaming is one time where it's a blast to be late to the party....loads of games to sift through, and no hype or lapse in releases.

A good list is variously posted above, yet some random titles worth considering:

1. -Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (action game with future-apocalypse setting, lovable sidekick and lots of ground to cover)
2. -Dead Space 1 (growing story, fear of your own footsteps, guts blastin, space-FPS)
3. -Deus Ex: Human Revolution (...Augmented (Cyborg) nation in it's infancy, and you have a job to do)
4. -Reckoning: Kingdoms of Amalur (the skyrim with color & action)
5. -Skate 3 or Burnout: Paradise (depending on how you roll)
6. -Shadow of the Colossus (hard to sum up, but worth figuring out...epic scale)

Wow, your timing is perfect dude because your gonna get loads of AAA tittles for dirt cheap!! And if your a PLUS member, your gonna probably have a year or 2 worth of games on backlog. lol

I cannot agree with this more. Best $50 you will ever spend.

You already own the best of the best with Arkham City so that's awesome. I'd also recomend

-the inFAMOUS series: These are the best Sony published games on the system in my opinion. It's a super hero open world game in which you choose to be either good or evil and the powers you gain are dependent on these choices

-Super Street Fighter 4: If you want a really good and deep competitive game in which you never stop learning new things, you can't do much better than the fighting genre and Super Street Fighter 4 is one of the best and most active right now.

-Rayman Origins and Legends: If you like platformers, these are easily the best on the console.
