New PS3 Owner.....

First of all, im sorry this is the wrong place to put this thread....but ive always owned a 360 and i finally bought a PS3 a couple days ago. I bought resistance and ut 3. My question is: Does ut 3 have a strong online community? i noticed there were only about 5 lobbies in team dm earlier. its a great game, but im a little worried that not much people play it.

also, i dont know much about ps3 titles so if anyone would like to make any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, Resistance is amazing. I didnt care for UT3 though, so I didnt play it enough to know if it still has a good online community.

You should checkout Warhawk and Uncharted. Warhawk is all MP and its really fun at the same time. Uncharted has amazing graphics and a pretty good story, not to mention awesome gameplay. Check out the Haze demo on PSN. I thought it was pretty good, so Im going to pick up the game.

Haven't played it yet, but if Im not mistaken, I read that UT3 is a cross-platform game online, so you should also be able to possibly play those with the game on the 360 (and/or PC). I think the PC version is out but the 360 version is to be released so even more ppl should be playing it than already are.

first congrats! Second, download mods for UT3. Coagulation is pretty fun on UT3.

Get uncharted and ratchet and clank.

Get warhawk!!!! it sucks at first though, learning curve, make sure you join people with the same rank as you

and if you like racing games, get motorstorm or gran turismo 5 prologue.

UT3 is not that huge online which is surprising with all the MODS you can get i have it and love playing it every now and then

i agree you need uncharted, ratchet and clank and warhawk, i would even get heavenly sword as well.

Uncharted, Ratchet, Resistance, Heavenly Sword (if you like action), GT5 Prologue (if you like racing), and Warhawk (if you like online). Congrats on the PS3! :DChaos_Bladez

Could only just afford it so I've only got UT3 and GT5P with Uncharted on its way in the post.

Theres people on UT3 don't worry about it. Get uncharted and warhawk.

Also look around The store for demos

Killzone 2 will come in 2009 so wait for it, in the mean while other pals are suggesting you good titles, but killzone 2 would blow everything away, welcome to the ps3 club
