Let's say when you see a wall of water coming at you from the TV just keep plenty of towels close by because it looks like that wall of water is going to come rite out of the TV at you. Or you can download some samples from PSN to get a tiny taste of what it is about.

u will defnitely notice the difference from regular dvds to blu ray. since u already have an HDTV im assuming u already have HD channels and have seen HD movies. If u compare those the HD channels with bluray movies there will be a slight difference . Bluray movies will run at 1080p compared to 720p on HD channels.

also remember each bluray movie is totally different from each other. there will be movies that will be clearer than other ones. ex. live free or die hard is a good transfer for bluray, but oceans 13 is an ok transfer. if u want to know about good HD quality movies go to the site highdefdigest.com (sorry dont know how to link), u will find good reviews about bluray movies in that site.

The level of detail (color, shadows and level of precision), had me breathless for my first one, Hellboy (only had a low price Techwood). Changing to a Samsung it becomes difficult for me to watch some DVDs (some are worse upscaled) or satellite TV. I even bought some movies I wouldn't have, knowing the level of detail would draw me more into the plot and characters.
