New PS3 owner with questions I have not seen answered yet...

I finally got my 80GB PS3!

Now I have a few questions...

First off, does the PSN network keep track of your age, that is because there are a few demos I want that are rated M, but I am 15 1/2 (I'm much more mature and wise for my age)

Second, I heard that the Sixaxis is USB, does that mean I can use it for my computer (It would be awesometo play MUGEN with it)

In case you are wondering, I have not installed it yet, as I am at my grandparents house now, so I'll be able t install it in a few hours.

1. When you create a new account it will ask for your birthday. I don't know if this afffects what you are allowed to download or not though.

2. Yes you can use the Sixaxis with a computer. Google "Sixaxis Driver" and you should find all of the information you need for getting it to work.

I think the main PSN account has to be at least 18 years old, and I think it does affect what you can do, so just lie and say that you're 18 to avoid problems in the future.

Exactly... and the parental control has no restrictions from the start. Just don't let your parents mess with that :D

I doubt it will check your age because demos don't count, but if you want to downlaod M+ games then you need the master account, I works for me and Im not 18 yet.

No, the controller doesnt work with a computer unless you make a few moddings and stuff. They cost alot and its a waste, why would you want to use it anyway??

Actually, I did some research on the Sixaxis Drivers and it costs nothing, I only have to try it now...

Well I don't have any controoler for my PC, I usuay have FPSon my laptop, because they are the only things it can run, now your thinking "Mouse and Keyboard FTW"

hehehe WRONG! I have the small tiny mini mouse so it's a pain in the @$$ to try to play FPS with it, mostly Halo, so being able to connect will make me very happy
