New PS3 problem

Hey guys I just got my PS3 yesterday and I'm loving it but there's a problem with it. For some reason it will not load up motorstorm. I installed the update for the PS3 and when it loads up the game it will get to the part with the language selection and then just go black. Any suggestions?

i know that game give me the same problem its not ur ps3 its the game

had this game send to me by gamefly and it didnt load up it was the disk and they had to send me a new copy and it work

Not sure about this though. This is only what I've heard on the streets.

yea i have the prob i went to play on saturday and all i get is a blank screen ,was going to try the disc at a gamestation as i dont no anyone with a ps3 ,was going to send it back to play but will try to uninstall update first ,seems a bad thing to do to a game i wonder what the cause is?

update:all fixed- under game tab go into game data utility and delete the 1.1 udate then load the game go to an online game and it will update too 1.2 reload ps3 and it all works :P
