Alright the slimmer lighter psp is nice and i will probably pick one up because i recently sold mine to purchase a ps3. The added TV connector is a huge plus but it need built in memory of at least 4 gigs IMO. Sony could offer a 4 and 8 gig bundle like the iphone. I just think built in hard drives are just essential now and must be there in all portable multi media devices.

This is a psp, they are made to do more than what an Iphone can do, its a game console, most poeple will be useing it to play games, save music, movies, games, pics and much more... Ive seen all what an iphone can do, and just like all apple products, they are seriously over priced, one of my best friends just got the i phone and its already damaged, He told me that its almost as delicate as a razr phone

The new psp doesnt really NEED built in memory, that is just an added feature, not really needed ............ But SOOOOO out did the ds lite when the ds was remade.... that change had useless changes

I think it would be a nice add on, but whatever. Just get more memory sticks if you're running out of space.

Memory sticks are fine for me, the redesigned psp does not NEED loads of hard drive space, the battery that comes with the redesigned psp would barely be able to cope with loads of hard drive space in the psp.

i dont own a psp, but ive been thinking when i get a new job i might buy one, but i do agree that it would be awesome not have to worry about SD cards, but with SD cards you can make back ups and with internal memory it might mess up and you might loose all your data, since UMD's cant be rewritten their would have to be a hardrive which can mess up since they are fragile, just look at ipods, but for right SD cards seem to be working fine for people

Putting a HDD into a handheld console isn't the best idea because they are prone to shock damage and would make the PSP weigh more, not least make it a whole lot bigger. If they were going to do that then it would have to be a SSD (solid state disk) aka flash memory.

less moving parts the better. Unless u turn ur PSP into an Ipod i dont see the need for larger expensive memory cards
