Hi there,

I have recently bought a PSP, along with 4 games - MGS:PO, Tekken DR, Disgaea and Final Fantasy Tactics.

I am looking to get a few more games, and two that I really wanted were Lumines and Wipout Pure - the problem is they are next to impossible top get in Australia without importing/buying off Ebay, both of which don't really work for me because I am traveling to Europe on New Years. My first question is - are Lumines 2 and Wipout Pulse as good as Lumines and Wipout Pure respecticvely?

Both have been reviewed worse than their predecessors, but I figured this could just be because they are too similair, which isn't a problem for me.

My other question is, does anybody have any games they reccomend as "must gets"?

I am probably going to get Daxter, because that looks pretty neat (and it's on sale) - but are there any others?

Cheers

People say Lumines had a better soundtrack, less distracting backgrounds, and meshed songs better. I say go with the original there. And get Wipeoput Pulse over the original. Better controls (so I'm told)

Others to get:

GTA: VCS, Daxter, Logans Shadow, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology (or import Tales of Eternia if you like)...I can't think of anymore ATM, but you look like you've got it down.

The backgrounds and soundtrack in Lumines 2 are a bit more distracting, but it is basically the same game, you won't be too bad off with it over the original.

I beleive that Wipeout pulse is supposed to have a better control scheme, but I am unsure, as I haven't played it myself.

Finally, consider Jeanne D'Arc to complete your SRPG trifecta (with FFT and Disgaea) and Field Commander as an under rated turn based strategy game. It is cheap, and fun! (It also has online mutltiplayer!!)
