I am now expecting itto be something like an RE Outbreak as in the part where it's about 4-5 friends on a RE4-RE5 gameplay

but with specialtiesand etc.. I've heard for years now they were working on a RE sequel as soon as RE5 was released.. I look forward to it..

this would be fun... cause i have always wanted the game to go back to zombie killing... i think it would definetly improve the gameplay using the re4 and re5 engine

RE outbreak would have been better with the RE4 controls. (I will not mentionRE5, it does not deserve it)

I would love to see another online RE game.

IF they make RE outbreak 3 it'll be amazing.. I'l get it for sure.. I'm still going to get RE 5 Gold edition for the DLC I haven't played yet and it's fun to play with a friend again..

I want a RE class based multiplayer game with good controls, not the normal tank based controls. It was totally fine with RE1-3, but times have changed.

If it's anything remotely like the Outbreak games, I will avoid it at all costs. I liked the new direction RE4 took and at that point the series had really started to feel stale. But I feel RE5 took it too far and while I liked it, I could definitely admit it's flaws.

I kinda hope the new Resident Evil will be somewhere between RE4 style and the classic style of RE. Similar to the Lost in Nightmares DLC for RE5, just make it atmospheric and have constant references to the previous games :)

How was Lost In Nightmares ? Young_Charter

Very short & easy. Even I beat it on Pro with an S rank. Still fun though. RE5 is a marvelous game, at least for co op.

Give me Resident Evil 4 atmosphere!

RE5 was just wrong. it felt semi first person shooter, and aimed at all the xbox FPS people.

How long is it ? Young_Charter

About an hour, two at most. Desperate escape is about the same as well. You can't save your progress in them so you have to do them in one sitting, so for that reason it's just as well they're so short. That's why I only bought the Untold Stories bundle when it was on special offer recently. :P

Well, if you liked RE5 and have some nostalgia for the old RE games, it's totally worth buying. They also add Barry Burton and Excella(I think?) in for Mercenaries Reunion which is a hell of fun in co-op! Ultimately, I just loved the atmosphere it had and the little references to RE1 so it was definitely worth the $5.

They need to make Resident Evil like it use to be back in part 1,2,3 and code veronica. Until then I'll keep avoiding the series.

If they killed that whole "Leon is a tank" thing, then I would say "RE4 controls" for anything.
