the graphics arent going to really look like that not to burst any ones bubble i bet it will look great but it's not going to look likes those screenshots i guarntee that.Nolan16
While some of those shots are obviously cinematic, seeing as how the camera is, I'm guessing the pics of the Summons (Espers, Aeons, whatever you wanna call them) are from actual in game. They look like what they would show when you summon them, not like something that would be seen in a CGI cutscene. All past FFs have used in game graphics to show the summons, so I'm gonna speculate and say those are in game graphics.
As someone else said, the graphics shown in the few secs of the in-game battle scene in one of the FFXIII trailers, the graphics aren't quite as sharp (mainly the hair, which is a post effect they aren't able to duplicate in real time), but they are very close to the CGI and better than any other game's graphics that I see on the horizon for any console (including KZ2 and Resistance 2).
From what we can guess, we haven't been given in Screenshots or video of gameplay footage for Versus, but I would guess the graphics are about the same with a darker tone (they are both made on the same engine and being made at the same time).
As for which game I want more? Thankfully, I don't have to choose. They both look equally appealing in my opinion and they are two different types of playstyle, both types I like (in the past, of course, I haven't played these two). Also, I would venture a guess that Versus will come out 3-4 months, at least, after XIII, so even less reason to have to choose since I strongly believe nothing will come out anywhere near those two that could compete with my taste.
