Eh double agent was announced as cancelled for PS3 as well, so there's a small chance this might change later on in my mind.

I wasn't bashing the xbox, i actually enjoy it and play it often. But this thread is about making a fuss about the fact it's exclusive and I stated my opinion with vague reference to DMC4

MGS4 is more my style of action stealth. Splinter Cell 1 did some really neat things and I own it for ps2, it's the only one I own since the I could snore through.

Again that's my opinion if you like or love the series, great enjoy it, more power to you

No worries Soulfood4, I do honestly feel bad for ps3 players that wanted it. It has happend to me with other titles and it stings.

you are by far the most uninformed person in this thread saying the PS3 cant handle AI and shadows. the fact that the system isnt constructed like m$ is the reason. The PS3 can handle it, it's just the complexity of the system hardware that developers are not familiar with. the ps3 has MGS4, so that's all i care about.

Um MGS revolusionized stealth action gameplay, and splinter cell has sucked since Chaos theory, i've bought and played all of the splinter cell game on most systems, i keep hoping that they make a good one but they are just so dang boring.

after pandora tommorow the series sucked.

now it looks like assassins creed in the modern age, and it looks really stupid. i'd rather play hitman or kane and lynch.

but seriously, this is one of those series where nobody gives a crap about because its bland and doesnt do anything new in their next installment.

cool but some of us have different taste though i personally hated the MGS games could never get into them, but i always loved the Splinter Cell Games in fact they were the reason i tried to get back into MGS cause i thought it would be somewhat similar. anyways there is something for everyone regardless of what console your on so this doesn't seem like a biggie.

No sarcasm because I never said anything about the quality of the game. Just that for a long time before its release they supposedly cancelled DA for PS3 so its not completely bogus to believe that it might be announced for PS3 as well in upcoming months.

And I both played and completely DA so I know.

nope i say they suck, so everyone else should think that too. lol, yeah i could never really get into the series, the gameplay was just lacking and boring, story sucked, and they could never actually make a solid port of one of them from either the xbox, or now on the 360.

Thats funny because ive heard it barely runs on the 360. we all know the ai thing is bull too, but ohh well. im not much of a splinter cell fan anyways. ive always loved the metal gear games over splinter cell.

I really couldn't care less about Splinter Cell games.
