Thanks for the suggestions. By the way, how is the Playstation Plus feature on the Vita? Is it worth the $50 a year? Is it good for all games or just certain ones?ShoTTyMcNaDeSRight now you can pick up Uncharted and Gravity Rush right off the bat plus others, so you'll all ready be getting your money's worth. Assuming you also have a PS3 there's plenty of freebies on there that will sweeten the deal. I can't add what others have said as far as game recommendations except maybe Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, if you're at all into golf anyway. I've been addicted to and it has been admittedly most of what I've played on my Vita so far  But Uncharted was great, and I rented LBP Vita and really need to buy it because it was amazing. PS All-Stars is decent too... and I've also played Resistance and Call of Duty, but those are rents at best in my opinion.
I enjoyed these games
LBP
Persona4
Uncharted
Gravity Rush
Rayman Origins
Wipeout
SF x Tekken
Blazblue
Assassins Creed
I'll mention some games that haven't been mentioned here yet.
PSN has some pretty decent downloadable titles: Super Stardust Delta, Escape Plan, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, Dokuro, and Frobisher Says! are all worth checking out. (Some of them have demos also.)
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned PSASBR, though I don't own the game yet and can't vouch for how good it is compared to the beta.
Also, you might like Touch My Katamari. I still don't know how long the game is, but it doesn't seem too much different than the other ones, which have been mostly fun.
Definitely Little Big Planet, esp. for bang for your buck. There's lots of downloadable levels and games. Sound Shapes is the same way. You can't go wrong w/ either if you like platformers really.

But if you want to play more than one of those at a time you'll need at least a 8-16GB card.
Why didn't anybody mention PSASBR!? (oh wait, one person did)
OP, i would recommend PSASBR, got it 2 days ago. Really loving it so far. It's really fun. Don't listen to the reviews or nay sayers. I don't understand the low rating on this game. Sure it's a rip off Brawl, but it's still good.
well there arent to many games to really pick from yet, but from the few there are, id recommend
>Persona 4 Golden
>Gravity Rush
their both REALLY enjoyable games i must admit, and if you playing ragnorak odyssey than i suggest looking out for Soul Sacrifice, as it looks very promising and has the similar gameplay to odyssey
Hate to say it, but you really need to have at least some basic japanese reading ability to get the most out of a Vita atm (luckily i do heh). There's some nice import games which are unlikely to be ported to NA/europe. The library of games available for sale NA atm is like less than half of that in japan.
If you can't read japanese, you can probably still play something like Project Diva f at least, which i highly recommend.
Absolutely no help + such a rude response to someone who just got a Vita. :P Don't listen to this person, there are plenty of amazing titles out right now and a ton to look forward to this year! Everyone else have already said the best of the best (Persona 4, LittleBigPlanet, Gravity Rush, etc) so I won't repeat that list, but I will suggest watching thissss.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghhlwGkz1C8 It's one guy's opinion of the top 10 Vita games of 2012 but I will say it helped me A LOT with picking out a lot of great titles. :) Happy gaming!Hate to say it, but you really need to have at least some basic japanese reading ability to get the most out of a Vita atm (luckily i do heh). I'd love to see some reviews of them.
I'm curious about Monster Monpiece and Demon Gaze, expecially.
The PSvita of Motal Kombat is great if you like Mortal Kombat. It is the Komplete version. Also Sly cooper Thieves in time is great as well.
PS+ for a $50 value for a year (and the current promotion of 3 extra months) will give you Gravity Rush, Wipeout, Uncharted, and Ninja Gaiden and that's only now. All four are pretty high rated as well.
I like PS All Stars. Jetpack Joyride is free to download. It's pretty addicting.
