Newbie online gaming question

I'm having a wireless connection installed today so I can play Team Fortress online. I have never played any games online before. Anything I should know? How do I find someone to play with?

Way newbish here. I dont know what steam is. Im hoping all I have to do is push the start button!

The biggest thing to remember is that there are a multitude of a-holes out there that will try to ruin your game. Just ignore them. Don't lower yourself to their level.Canvas_Of_Flesh

excellent advice, also be known that your gonna suck. Suck horribly, but you will get alot better just keep at it.
